Moving To the U.K.

I made a whole big announcement on moving to the UK and bam life had other plans. Don’t get me wrong, we are definitely moving, but the timeline is a bit different then I imagined. I’m sure if you’re here reading this you’re wondering why and let me tell you….

My husband and I are strong believers in letting things unfold naturally. Going with the flow of life instead of resisting it or forcing outcomes has always worked in our favor. So after we spent 3 months in the UK, although we loved every minute of it, and found the neighborhood we would like to settle in, something didn’t feel entirely right about the timing. And so we went back to the States to gather our thoughts and regroup. We also took the time to visit my huband’s family who due to the pandemic had not met our children yet.

We took the down time to really map out what we wanted and it dawned on us how much we love traveling and maybe perhaps we weren’t entirely ready to settle down in one spot just yet. It did also help that our children love traveling too and get excited anytime time we say we’re going on a plane. We had been playing around with the idea of being nomadic for a while now and never committed, but in life’s true form everything worked out for it to finally make sense. The girls are still not of school age and we have nothing tying us down. We can work from anywhere and so that’s exactly what we decided to do.

So yes, we are still moving to the UK. We’re just on a little detour in between taking time to travel as a family and explore the world and we’re excited to share each adventure with you!
